Lord of the Rings Papercraft: Aragorn's Sword Anduril

Here's another Lord of the Rings paper model from Matrixskull. This time it is a 1:1 scale papercraft of Aragorn's reforged sword, Anduril. Anduril first appears in the third LOTR movie, The Return of the King. From tip to tip the paper sword measures a whopping 55" (140 cm) long! I especially like the inclusion of a display stand with the model.  The template for the sword (Pepakura PDO only) may be downloaded here. LOTR Papercraft: Legolas Elf Sword

In the Lord of the Rings movie trilogy, the elf Legolas carried two swords on his back. Given the popularity of the character, I figured it was only a matter of time before someone created paper models of Legolas' swords (or "fighting knives" as some like to call them). Kingdom Hearts Papercraft: Dream Sword

Another Kingdom Hearts II papercraft is complete! The Dream Sword is one of three weapons (along with the Dream Rod and the Dream Shield) that may be used in the "Dive to the Heart" area of KH2. This paper model Dream Sword is 1:1 scale and measures 36" (92cm) long. The finished model is more than sturdy enough for display purposes, but if you want to use it for something more active like cosplay then it will need to be reinforced inside with a material stronger than cardstock. Star Trek Papercraft: Terran Empire Knife

In the Star Trek universe there is an alternate reality where instead of the peaceful United Federation of Planets there exists the brutal Terran Empire. This evil alternate reality was first introduced in the original 1960's Star Trek television show episode entitled Mirror, Mirror. At one point in the Star Trek Voyager Elite Force video game the crew of Voyager encounter the crew of a Terran Empire ship. This papercraft is of the knife that some of the Terran crew carry.

Star Trek Papercraft: Klingon Knife

Here's another papercraft based on a 3D model from the Star Trek Voyager Elite Force video game. This is the game's version of the D'k tahg, the traditional Klingon warrior's knife. The knife is seen only briefly in the video game when the player must attempt to sneak past a Klingon enemy who is busy eating some meat.

Construction tip: Build from the blade downward. Doing so makes it easier to reach inside and hold the flaps down while the glue drys.
