Papercraft destroyer

Navy ship papercrafts can be very hard to build due to the very small parts that are included. There are many models available on the web but most are difficult to assemble. The JMSDF Aegis Equipped Destroyer "DDG173-Kongo" (1:268) papercraft(11 pages) is one of the least challenging models to build despite its complexity. You can also download the Oyashio submarine.

Japanese WWII submarine

I found this really cool submarine. This card model came from a Japanese movie called "Sea Without Exit." You can check the site here. You have to print 16 pages of parts including the stand. To save you the trouble of finding the parts, I'll just post the direct links below:

CSS David Class Torpedo Boat Papercraft

CSS David was built as a private venture by T. Stoney at Charleston, South Carolina in 1863, and put under the control of the Confederate States Navy. The cigar-shaped boat carried a 60- or 70-pound explosive charge on the end of a spar projecting forward from her bow. Designed to operate very low in the water, David resembled in general a submarine; she was, however, strictly a surface vessel. Operating on dark nights, and using anthracite coal which burns without smoke, "David" was nearly as hard to see as a true submarine.

This site is not new but you can find a couple of highly detailed papercrafts of ships. There's a total of five downloads. There is the 1:250 scale Lightship Ambrose, HMS Dreadnought, Admirable class minesweeper-subchaser and the old V108 Torpedo boat. You can also test the design of the USS Arizona model by building a complete turret with the catapult and Kingfisher floatplane.

Aircraft Carrier and Navy Ships

Warning: These ship models are not for the faint of heart! Due to the very small parts, some people might find these too difficult to build. You can get an Aircraft Carrier, two cruisers, a destroyer and a couple more plus a Chinese warship. All these models are of the same scale which is 1/700.
