Halloween Papercraft: Coffin Treat Box
It is getting close to Halloween which means it's time for some spooky papercraft! These simple coffin treat boxes are offered by the folks at holiday-crafts-and-creations.com. There are two different templates for the coffin lid, one with a "death by chocolate" slogan and one without. Also included are instructions on how to make skeleton brownie treats to go inside! WWII Paper Models: Spitfire and Panther Tank
These two World War II papercraft models are free samples offered by the commerical paper model company, Paper-Pro Modeling. Most of Paper-Pro's products are deformed models that don't require any glue to assemble. On the left is a British Supermarine Spitfire fighter plane and on the right is a German Panther tank. Star Wars Papercraft: Ewok Paper Toy
This painterly 3D Ewok paper toy is the work of Australian illustrator Ashlee Duggan. Ewoks first appeared in the Star Wars movie, Return of the Jedi. Duggan aptly describes Ewoks as: "a fictional species of teddy-bear-like hunter-gathers that inhabit the forest moon of Endor. They appear as stocky, sapient bipeds which stand about one meter tall." Alice in Wonderland Chess Papercraft
Sometimes 2D papercraft can be just as much fun as 3D papercraft. Such is the case with this Alice in Wonderland chess set. Kingdom Hearts Papercraft: Jafar's Black Lamp
At the end of the 1992 Disney movie Aladdin there is a battle. In this battle Jafar, the film's villain, is tricked by the hero Aladdin into using this third and final wish from a genie to transform into a powerful genie himself. Aladdin then traps Jafar in his genie form in a black lamp. A similar scenario plays itself out in the Kingdom Hearts I video game, only this time it is the game's main character Sora who traps Jafar in the lamp. This black lamp papercraft is based on a 3D model from Kingdom Hearts. Details are as follows:

Ornate Teddy's Theater Papercraft
This ornate paper theater is intended to be used as a play set for teddy bear paper dolls. Both the theater and the matching paper dolls were created by the unidentified Danish designer who runs the PaperMatrix blog. The project might be seen as a work in progress as various parts and stage sets for the theater have been periodically posted on the blog since May 2010. Tron Legacy Papercraft: Lightcycle & Recognizer
Tron:Legacy, Disney's sequel to the 1982 movie Tron is set to be released in December 2010. In advance of the movie, DisneyFamily.com has released several craft items for kids including a 3D papercraft lightcycle and a 3D paper recognizer. Both the lightcycle and the recognizer are vehicles that appear in the original movie and they get an updated appearance for the new movie. These and other Tron goodies are available here.

Fictional Castle and Cathedral Paper Models
This papercraft castle and cathedral by French papercrafter Jonathan were created with children in mind. Both buildings are fictional creations, however each is designed to an approximate scale. Miniature Gaming Armored Truck Papercraft
This papercraft armored truck is intended to be used in superhero miniature gaming scenarios (The supervillians need something to rob, don't they? ^^) The scale of the truck is roughly 1:48 (or O Scale or 32mm, depending on which scale notation you choose), so it is the right size for both the Heroclix and Marvel Heroscape gaming systems. Karatsu Kunchi Parade Float Paper Models
Karatsu Kunchi is a three day festival that takes place each November on the Japanese island of Kyushu. Each day of the festival there is a parade in which large floats are drawn through the streets by families who live on the island. Each of the floats was originally built in the 1800's. Pictured above are papercraft models of three of the floats. From left to right are a red lion, a green lion and a red bream fish. Templates and instructions for each of these paper models may be downloaded at the bottom of the page here.
Transformers Papercraft: Teletraan I Computer
The original Transformers animated television show ran from 1984 to 1987. In the show, the Autobots' base of operations was a massive spaceship known as the Ark. The Ark was operated by a semi-sentient computer named Teletraan I. Mandingo Rex of the Tformers forum has created a detailed papercraft version of Teletraan I for use as a prop with Transformer toys. A download of the Teletraan template is available here. Also available are printable sheets of wall and floor panels to build a diorama of the interior of the Ark.
